Let's learn English through songs. It's a fun and simple way for you to brush up on your listening skills. You can listen to the words over and over again until you can fully understand them. Learning English through songs is also a good way of picking up some natural English expressions especially slang words.
Joss Stone became famous in 2004, despite only having been 15 at the time. She has a very recognizable voice and writes her own music as well as covering famous songs. Here is one of her covers, 'Fell in Love with a Boy', originally by The White Stripes. Listen to the song and then complete the gaps with the missing words. To make the exercise harder, don't look at the list of eight missing words. Do you have any suggestions of songs we can use in our next English listening lesson? Good luck!
